For those of you who follow my work, you may have noticed that I don’t post poetry as much as I used to, but that’s only because I have some big things in the mix. I figured it was time to give you guys an update and tell you what to expect in the next few months. I have been in post production on a film I directed for Chris Gronau and iThink iCam productions, Desperate Times, which is due out around the first of the year. We’ll be showing Desperate Times followed by a trailer for a documentary I’ve begun on the life of J.D. Salinger to help raise funds for the project. We hope to begin filming the doc sometime in February. At the moment I’m 90% finished with a play adapted from Ingmar Bergman’s Scenes from a Marriage, which will be performed in a theater in Las Vegas for a limited run beginning in January. Auditions will be held in mid December. This is a bit out of my control, but I’ve recently finished a screenplay, which is currently under consideration to be made into a feature film, so keep your fingers crossed. And finally, I’ve begun work on a new writing project, which I’ll be posting excerpts from on my facebook.
I’m excited to see guys at the showings and the performances, and I’ll keep you posted with more info when I get it.
love,
K
